Esther, the queen of Persia, made a stand for truth and righteousness as she opposed the royal decree to destroy the Jews within Persia. Without thought for herself, she faced the possible consequences, confessed her Jewish lineage, and saved her people. Few individuals in any walk of life have risked more for the sake of any given cause. Integrity is the strength of character to do whatever is right in the eyes of God, regardless of the possible consequences. Esther had the moral courage to make her actions consistent with her knowledge of right and wrong, and was a woman of unquestionable Integrity. |
